Topic: Creator-Creation Distinction
This is the temporary layout for topic pages. For now this will just be a short description followed by a list of relevant verses. Later on, the verses will be organized into a comprehensive explanation of the topic.
The Creator-Creation distinction refers to the general difference in power, authority, value, goodness, and holiness, which exists between God and all of God's creation. God upholds all creation by the word of his power; without God the creation cannot continue to exist. God reserves for himself certain privileges which he does not share with his creation, such as the authority to determine the time and place for the deaths of all people, to meticulously govern everything, to take revenge, to predestine people to hell, to judge nations, to determine good and evil, and to receive worship. When men attempt to arrogate authority which has not been delegated to them, it is sin.
