Non è la parte "amatevi l'un l'altro" ad essere nuova -- che era già stata comandata in Lev. 19:18. La nuova parte è "come ti ho amato". Ora abbiamo visto YHWH in carne e ossa che interagisce direttamente con noi e ci fornisce esempi specifici di come dovremmo amare. Penso che molti di questi esempi includano le specifiche sottolineature di Gesù sull'umiltà, la cura per i bambini e il perdono personale. Ma egli ha anche esemplificato il seguire la legge biblica.

I suggest the answer must be no. Jesus violated (often intentionally) the Pharisees' traditions about the law, but Jesus never violated the law itself. Rather, he upheld the law in ways that made men uncomfortable. Therefore, he could never have given us an example of an action which overturns the law, only actions which clarify it, or contradict men's additions to (or traditions about) the law.
