Back to Genesis 4

The Command[/Principle]

This passage contains the second example of judicial investigation by God. In this case, unlike that of Genesis 3:8-13, the criminal does not confess, and rather lies about the case. God still establishes conviction based on evidence outside of the Cain's testimony.
