Divining is the practice of discerning information (any information at all) by supernatural means, or by means of a tool with supernatural properties. Divining can be done by means of teraphim to contact false-gods or powers invented by superstition (see Zechariah 10:2). Divining is also done in contact with the true God by means of the Urim and Thummim (see [[Exodus 28]]). This topic will cover laws which define acceptable and unacceptable uses and methods for divining.
