Exodus 6:12-13
12 And Moses spake before Jehovah, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips? 13 And Jehovah spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.
Classification
The Command[/Principle]
This passage contains a positive command, directed toward Pharaoh and Israel through Moses and Aaron, framed as response to Moses's objection to the effect that he was inadequate for the task of relaying that message: "bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt".
Categories
This command is part of the Principles and Definitions. It contributes to our understanding of Prophecy because Moses is to relay a direct revelation from God, Stewardship because Pharaoh was a steward of God's property, and God was commanding him to relinquish it, and Slavery because Israel were slaves in Egypt.
Fulfillment
This command was fulfilled when Moses and Aaron relayed the message, and when Israel was eventually brought out of Egypt.
