Holiness is a quality of God. Some argument can be made as to whether holiness can be transferred to and from people or sanctified and consecrated objects (Ezek 44:19). Further argument can be made as to the interactions between holy and unholy people or things, and the impact which those interactions can have on the physical world (Exodus 34:29), and to the conscious experience of humans (Isaiah 6:5).
